Mark
Jodice exudes a passion for guitar playing and music that has
been cultivated over twenty years of performing and teaching professionally.
His crisp playing and ear for improv delight even the most casual
jazz enthusiasists.
Having studied with some of the finest teachers, including Garrison
Fewell, Dan Delaney, and Mick Goodrick, Mark's creativity and
talent is continually evolving.
He has performed throughout New England in many capacities, at
venues including Sculler's Jazz Club, Cambridge, and The Center
for the Arts in Natick. His versatility has made Mark an integral
part of several bands with differing styles of music including
jazz, rock, and funk/fusion.
Mark's well rounded nature is enhanced by his position in Massachusetts
public schools, teaching music and by his role as a private guitar
instructor.
He's worked extensively with children from all age groups in school
as well as through summer camps, such as the Foxborough High School
summer jazz camp and the Concord Center for Music.
Mark is currently recording an album of original jazz pieces with
the Sai Ghose Trio, to be released on Summit records in the Spring
of 2006.
